A little about me.

Hi, my name is Sam’Myada Gamble and I'm a Software Engineer in the making from New Jersey. I’ve always been interested in coding/programming or the magic that goes on behind the screen and due to a sudden illness, I was able to find the time to look into and learn coding/programming. The moment I started I knew I would enjoy doing this as a future career. So I took it seriously and signed up for the Skillcrush platform and here I am.

A fact about me, I’m always ready to learn new things and have been complimented on my adaptability to new situations. I enjoy simple things like music, movies, anime, nice sceneries, and spending time outside but I’m scared of bugs and large animals but who wouldn't be lol.

Unplugged

This project is a 3-page responsive website, created to adapt to multiple viewing screens. HTML & CSS languages were used to create this website. Some skills used to create this website were Flexbox, Media Queries, and Responsive Typography. The layout was done with Photoshop and then published on GitHub. Enjoy!

Sticky Note UI

In the Sticky Note UI you're allowed to add, save, search and delete sticky notes with ease. This project works smoothly on common web browsers. It allows you to search for a specific note by typing its title into the search engine provided on the site. The skills used to create this project are ES6, Manipulating the DOM, and Managing Data Flow. It was created on CodeSandbox/React.

Titanic Survivor Scatterplot

This project displays a scatterplot of the Titanic survivors. In this project, I imported multiple Python libraries(Matplotlib, Seaborn, Pandas, and NumPy) to read and display my data. I then used BeautifulSoup to web scrape the data. I used hue to display different colors for those who did and did not survive.

In this project you're allowed to book and compare different hotel rooms and prices. To make your search run smoothly there are filters so you can get the best result you're looking for. This website also provides ratings for each hotel room and shares which are the best sellers.
